The pool also has a small training and diving pool, and there’s even a toddler’s pool that’s filled with whimsical water installations like mushroom and tree-shaped fountains.
This fab little kiddie-friendly pool in Jordan Valley is perfect for preschoolers, kindergarteners and kids under 10. It has a nifty water slide, and there’s a pool for laps, too, plus an outdoor playground to burn off some extra energy.
Another great option for kids is the Ma On Shan swimming pool, which offers gorgeous seafront views and lots of fun water installations. There’s a main pool along with training and diving pools, but the star attraction is undoubtedly the four waterslides, of which two are rated as the city’s fastest.
The pool is also popular with parents because of its convenient location, right across the road from Belcher’s Bay Park. That means after a dip in the pool, the kids can hop over to the outdoor playground and run off some steam while mum and dad can enjoy a refreshing swim.
As the coronavirus restrictions ease, more and more swimming pools are opening, but their individual operating hours vary. Some are closed on certain days for cleaning, and they may close for maintenance or annual repairs at other times. So it’s best to check on the LCSD website before you head out to a pool.
