We all know that swimming is a great way to cool off in the summer heat and get some exercise at the same time. But what’s even better is if you can swim in an amazing pool with stunning views of Hong Kong’s city skyline or the calm waters of Victoria Harbour. And the good news is that there are tons of gorgeous hotel pools in the city that offer all of the above! All you have to do is book a room at one of these hotels on Klook and enjoy your (semi) private swim with top-notch facilities, amazing views, and plenty of food and drinks to keep you hydrated.
Public and government-run pools are always an option for cooling off, but they don’t have the same luxuries that you can find at hotel swimming pools. For example, Rosewood Hong Kong’s Asaya Pool is a 25 meter infinity pool that allows any patron to enjoy a one-of-a-kind view of the city skyline. And when you’re done swimming a few laps and enjoying the relaxing ambiance, you can lounge poolside with a tipple while soaking in the stunning scenery.
Another great option is the Hammer Hill Road outdoor pool in Kwun Tong. This family-friendly pool has small slides, water guns, animals to sit on and even a fountain! They also have an indoor pool, so it’s perfect for rainy days or when you just want a bit of privacy.
With 44 LCSD public swimming pools spread across every corner of the city, it’s easy to find a pool close by. And the best part is that it only costs $17 per adult on weekdays and $19 on weekends and public holidays. Toddlers under 3 years old are free.
But if you’re looking for something a little more unique, check out the indoor complex at Victoria Park. It has a main pool, two teaching pools and an outer area with sunbathing space. Plus, the water is naturally cooled by the surrounding trees!
The only downside to this pool is that it’s closed on Mondays for cleaning. But that’s ok because it has a beautiful waterfall and rocks!
So what are you waiting for? Head to a hk pools this summer and make a splash! You’ll be glad you did. You can even do some shopping while you’re at it! After all, who doesn’t like a little retail therapy while they’re on their summer holiday?!
