There are 44 public swimming pools in Hong Kong, including nine on Hong Kong Island, 13 in Kowloon and 22 in the New Territories. The LCSD is conducting a series of disinfection and filtration measures to ensure the safety of the pools. The sanitisation process takes up to two weeks for each pool.
