BOCHK SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION PRIZE is a prize to reward outstanding scientific research and technological innovation achievements in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics, life and health, new materials and new energy, advanced manufacturing and FinTech, conducted by researchers from universities, industry-education-research bases and institutes set up by Hong Kong higher education institutions, located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area or outside but with significant influence from Hong Kong. The review shall be performed independently, objectively and fairly, with no organization or individual exerting undue influence.
The IBP 2023 Best Article Prize on Global Hong Kong Studies is open to any principal author who has been awarded an Academy Fellowship within the past 10 years and whose research focuses on a topic concerning Hong Kong in its historical, political, social and cultural contexts. Applicants are encouraged to develop innovative theories and concepts for studying Hong Kong in the global perspective.
The awards ceremony will be held in 2023 and will feature prominent figures from The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Central Government agencies in Hong Kong and sponsoring enterprises. A series of workshops and masterclasses will be arranged for the Semi-Finalists and Finalists.
