The Sydney Peace Prize recognises solutions that prove peace with justice is possible. It celebrates the courage and dedication of people from all walks of life who work to global justice, honours their achievements on the Australian and Sydney stage and brings their stories to a wider audience. It is Australia’s only international prize for peace with justice and a flagship project of the Sydney Peace Foundation.
The Prize is presented annually to a person, organisation or project that has demonstrated extraordinary commitment and dedication to advancing human rights and addressing global issues of peace with justice. It is awarded for work that demonstrates a clear link between peaceful solutions and the advancement of human rights, with emphasis on those working to address global poverty, hunger, violence, discrimination, and war. The Prize holder receives $50,000 cash, a hand-made glass trophy designed by Brian Hirst and a week in Sydney to promote understanding of their work. This includes media engagements, a public lecture at the City of Sydney Town Hall, and engagement with students at Cabramatta High School.

He joined the team on a temporary loan from MAD Lions in September 2018, after competing at BLAST Premier Spring Finals as a stand-in for Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhaylov.
