What is a Sydney Prize?

A sidney prize is an award that is given to a person or group of people for their contribution to society. This can be through any form of work that is deemed worthy by the judges, including but not limited to arts, science, education, social justice and politics. There are a number of different prizes that can be awarded to individuals, and these awards are usually given out at major events or ceremonies. These are some of the most prestigious prizes available and they have a very high prestige value.

Several universities and institutions offer these types of prizes to their students. The University of Sydney, for example, has a range of academic merit prizes that are awarded to students who perform exceptionally well in their studies. These prizes are based on mid-year and final year academic results. Applications are not required for these awards, but the student’s achievement will be recorded on their transcript.
